In Australia, there was a trend for younger generations to look for well-paid, easy work, in office and in city. So much so that, farming and manufacturing sectors have to conduct campaigns for ‘work in the bush’, ‘work smart’ and pay increase (to attract workers) on one side and going (remote control / AI-)’automation’ on another side (to ensure their business continuity).
Situations in Thailand may be much the same. But, workers from neighbouring countries are seen as easy solutions now –disregarding social impacts to society and security to the nation in the future.
