I read about Banksy’s “Girl with Balloon” (now half shredded and called “Love is in the Bin”) auctioned for 18+M pound (AUD70+M) and sighed –too. It was said that the picture is “considered heir to a venerated legacy of anti-establishment art”.
I think it means to say it is a picture of art as a picture of anti-art (movement) – a really twisted ‘paradox’. But what do I know about arts? Any thing that tells story is ‘art’ to me. Anything arouses curiosity is ‘museum’. … - a …dumb arse ;-)
