In Pic 2: The abandoned nest. Many insects fly away leaving their nests – and never come back. Many Thais still think of (birds) returning to their nests (like กลับมาตายรัง - all birds also leave their nests behind once they can fly). So many Thais spread ‘fake news’ and not accepting facts.

(Your) Comment#2 : Seeing many Thais in western formal suits in the heat of Topical Thailand while foreigners in T-shirts and shorts (even bathing suits) brings laughter from the deep inside. A little scene from ‘2001 Space Odyssey’ movie – when Dave found himself in a nicely decorated room but .. drawers won’t open.. AHA .. the furniture are fake ‘appearance’ (without purposes) copies. Many more ‘westernization’ rites in Thai culture are just that – for ‘face’ but not for function.
