I am reading a collection of sayings [ https://sites.google.com/site/smartdhamma/hlwng-pu-fak-wi ] by the reverend Luang Pu Dune (หลวงปู่ดูลย์ อตุโล).

He was a (forest tradition) meditation monk and a monk of few words. This collection is full of (one devoted ‘Luk Sit’) description of ‘settings’ (situations) leading to Luang Pu’s brief sayings. Some of those sayings came to mind when reading your post. Examples: แนะวิธีละนิมิต, เป็นของภายนอก are quite tickling.

I am exploring many things again (many as if they are the very first time - with wider eyes and thick glasses ;-) Imagination can lead ‘crystallization (knowledge) but after we cross that river of ignorance, we would leave imagination there for someone else ;-)
