I am thinking about life (man, animals, trees/plants, micro-organisms,…) and how life can be in harmony … in respect of each other … in help in time of need, …
I think we need to grow ‘a culture of utopia’ – the vision of Nature at its best (Man can imagine) and install that vision as a guide to living ‘successfully’ and happily.
Keeping trees (and Nature) in any other ways is hard – quite hard. Without this ‘common vision’ there will always be they-and-we opposing forces fighting and destroying what other side hold dear. It seems easy to pass this burden to children and wait for them to change our world. What if we change ourselves now – change our values and practices? Do our best for ‘our Nature’ (as we have it) each day. Will we make any difference?
PS. You are doing your bits. I am doing my bits (with over 20,000 trees on 40 hectares). I have definitely carbon-negative and oxygen-positive ‘mallee’ (native forest; as it called Down-under).
