I have 2 headlines today that lift my mood up:

ป่าไม้เมืองสามหมอกรวมพลังจัดสร้างฝายชะลอความชุ่มชื้นกักเก็บน้ำไว้ใช้หน้าแล้ง [แนวหน้า]มีป่าย่อมมีน้ำ กรมชลฯ ปลูกป่าสร้างความยั่งยืน [กรุงเทพธุรกิจ]

Thailand does have government/public funded projects for ‘trees’. Let’s hope that they do these projects –seriously–. (I have seen many million+baht projects lie wasted and neglected in so many places when I was travelling through Thailand’s country areas. Sad!)

But this headline : “วิษณุ” เผย “ห้ามหาเสียง” ในวัดมีมานานแล้ว [คมชัดลึก] definitely raises my concerns. Election is coming back to Thailand again and I fear that like in previous elections ‘trees’ would be used for elction campaigns. Trees would be covered, nailed, cut, beaten, … All in names of politicians!
