Last week there was a storm in a city in Aus, many trees along a street were blown down - uprooted. And the roots? Some long roots were only 2+ metres and few roots were that long.

After some thoughts I came to conclude that city trees are suffering, their root areas have been concreted or covered. They only have a small circle around the trunk to catch water - to play with soil. They are virtually imprisoned - for life.

Should we also care for city trees?
