I read the title 'อาณาจักรโบราณของชนชาติไทย' and the first passage 'อาณาจักรฟูนัน ...สันนิษฐานว่าเป็นอาณาจักรของชาวขอม...'. This implies/assumes ชาวขอม is ชนชาติไทย, does it not?

Another question please. The names of ancient kingdoms listed are very much 'indic' (Sanskrit/Pali) except  อาณาจักรฟูนัน which sounds 'chinese'? The ariticle says 'อาณาจักรฟูนัน...แต่มีชื่อเรียกในสมัยโบราณว่า วยาธปุระ...วัฒนธรรมประเพณีของฟูนันได้รับอิทธิพลมาจากอินเดีย...' - any explanation for the origin of this name?
