Love that idea - that Indian people respect 100+years old mango trees and treat the fruits as things of value. How about putting a sign conmemorating 100 years old trees in Thailand? (I hope the local admins will spend a few thousand baht on this and go into a competition among local admins for areas with most trees over 100 years old; but I fear that there is only a few trees of good age left.)
Among countries in the (British) Commonwealth, people who turn 100 get a telegram from the Queen; in Japan they get a silver cup from the Prime Minister; In Thailand? A grand lady in Nan - รัสมี รักษ์เลิศวงค์ - will turn 100 in January 2018.
And trees deserve our recognition for the service (at least for amount of oxygen they produced over 100 years) - long live the trees!
