I can't read what in the bubbles (in the picture on the front of 'MK G' museum? building; and probably can't understand the German anyway). In the picture there is a 'crocodile head' (bottom left) and a 'rack of test tubes' (midle right), are they intentional and suggesting 'from eating like crocodiles to eating test tube food'?

You are absolutely right. Protein from large animals is not economically sustainable. Eggs, insects and larvae are better bang for buck! In much the same way, glucose from yeasts and bacteria (hence test tube) is less costly to produce. What remains is how to package these proteins and glucose (with filler or fibre to fill our tummy and flavours to please our taste buds) and how to make us buy.

Let's hope that they don't cut down trees to make boxes to contain these foods - that is not really 'ecologically wise'.

Sorry to add: The darker side of food crisis is when human parts are used for human food!

Perhaps un-coffin burial in unmarked grave is a solution for recycling humanity back into Nature. No creamation (pollution + CO2), no coffin (long delay before recycling), and no mumifying either. Just wrapping in linen or natural fabric with natural acids to help dissolve bones.
