<p “=”“>Those who had read “มาตรฐานโรงพยาบาลและบริการสุขภาพ ฉบับเฉลิมพระเกียรติฉลองสิริราชสมบัติครบ 60 ปี” (freely downloadable from medinfo.psu.ac.th/nurse/NEW/QC/HA%20Standard_58_fn.pdf ) would agree that (digital) information systems are very important for research and development (learning and training) in health systems. It is ashame that IT students and professionals don’t pay enough attention to Medical IS.
<p “=”“>Perhaps (open source) Indivo, Google Health, and Microsoft’s HealthVault can give ideas on systems for personal health information, a search on “hospital information systems [Thailand]” would give a list of various (and unintegrated) systems used in hospitals [in Thailand] - interconnecting these systems can provide a wealth of medical information that is useful for managing hospitals and public health.
<p “=”“>Would anyone comment on the Department of Digital Economy’s functions and plans?
