I found these somewhat amusing and reducing the credibility of the information:

2) Today there are nearly 90,000 registered refugees and some 16,700 asylum seekers in Thailand (as of December 2010). [ Today (as I am reading is April 2017, the source of info was back in 2010 -- hardly today ;-]
