I don't think we can equate abstraction (mind) to physic (body) --in general--. But we can associate them by some criteria (interdependencies) --using the BUddha's principle "because this arises - that arises; this ceases - that ceases" which excludes 'our opinions and wishes' (that thay are associated).

It's worth noting that language is just a pointer to the real thing/abstraction.
