It seems a 'greedy self-interest' motive to do good. ;-)

I think the Buddha meant 'when we do good', we get good(ness)' (but necessary monetary rewards which turns Buddhist practice into a theist practice (like praying to a god for something).

Let us do good for satisfaction of doing good in our hearts.
