I have been observing birds raising their young chicks. The chicks can fly now but still following their parents who take them to where they can find and catch food. Sometimes the chicks would beg for food and sometimes the parents would give them some food and sometimes the parents would move away.

Birds can show us how they teach their young to be indepedent and successful birds. Their main technique seems to be mixture of 'feeding', showing, encouraging trial-and-error and gradual withdraw of support.

Thank you for your story. I can now compare birds' way with a human way.
