Let us encourage research into 'nutrition value' of rice weevils and change our perception of weevils (and other insects) for good. Surely, rice weevils are ubiquous as fruitflies and must be as big a problem as fruitflies. Thailand produce rice and fruits for billions in exports too. Thailand's universities should have known 'everything' about fruitflies and rice weevils by now. What are/have been they doing?
