I have a near-death experience with mushrooms collected from a park in Canberra AUS by laotian friends. Interestingly they were not affected by the mushrooms but we vomited and ran -to toilets- more than a dozen times, given more laxatives and diluted saline water to drink and in drip. It took 9 hours for us to come back to the land of the living again.

My advice to 'all' is 'check with real experts before eating mushrooms - especially ones that we don't know for sure.
