Modern days sciences would talk more about 'hormones' (like adrenalin, dopamine,...) and their roles in neuromotor controls, other inputs (like oxygen, water, heat,...) and outputs (extra power, extra sensitivity,...) (under "mind" or "will" or "drive") just fall into places. In a simple way, millions of years of 'evolution' is probably more the key of 'special abilities/forces' than man's imagination of what is going on inside our physical body and 'mind'.

Peel out the layers of what we are -- we will find nothing at the core. Like to Buddha says: All conditioned/composite things are varying (changing), unstable (dukkha) and not self (obeying not human mind but universal laws of physics or Nature). He refused to speculate on the variability and conviction of human mind (I can't remember the name of the suttas).

PS. I guessed that much that the pic wasn't yours and not a product from 'eastern' minds. It is still a blaspheme in the East. I am not an expert on 'Internet laws' in Thailand. But the rules for post materials that may be 'offending' or 'inciting misconcepts' with penalties specified. Perhaps G2K administrator may want to look into. Because the laws hold both the posters and the website'owners/administrators responsible.
