Let get over this referandum. How much did we spend on getting the votes? 2-3,000 millions baht from the government side? 15-20 million baht for travelling and loss productivity on the people side? Money virtually spent for 'nothing'.

Let us focus on a different voting system: an electronic or internet or mobile phone based system would cost far less for 'taxpayers' (probably down to 2-300 million baht from government and down to 1-200 million baht from voters). The counting would be a lot quicker and result known quicker.

Surely this is a big win for Thailand (better return for money). The big losers? Police department which claim for cost of security on and around polling boots!
