I was caught by the caption for an oil palm (in a picture):

ต้นปาล์มมีลูกสองทะลาย ลูกปาล์มสุกเมื่อไหร่ จะเป็นอาหารทั้งของนกและกระรอก 

I doubt if the palm fruits are 'food' for birds and squirels. And if we ever try to eat one we will never try again.
