It is the "work ethics" that the farang bitched about. I lived and worked among 'farangs' for a long time and I have seen and heard as much gossipping as among Thais, Laotians, Chinese, Indians, ...

But i have noted 'stronger work ethics' among Chinese, and some farangs (especially British -- for the good of the --old-- Empire). If more Thais see their duties as important and execute their duties the best they can, Thailand would have far less corruption and far better quality of life.
