Government(s) or more correctly politicians cannot see any benefit to them if people make their own cooking gas. It is much better for them to ride on import gas and collect tolls. Soon they will allow "fracking" which wrecks rural areas in US, AUS and Indonesia -- for "tea cake money".

Thailand shoud/must reduce dependency on imported gas. Biomass fermentation is one way to make own gas (and hydrogen that may one day power our cars too).

All we need is serious development to find "good formula and practice" so people can cook with gas without killing themselves in the process. [I am doing my --tiny bit-- in this area. I will share my result ;-) ]
