Since this is a call for opinion, my answer is more uninformed than well-researched.

• Gross National Happiness made a good catch phrase for any political leaders or for that matter any leaders. Since everyone seems to know what a "happiness" is.
• But a Bhuthan's definition of happiness is the same as Thai's or American's definition of happiness?
• Can we define and measure "happiness" globally? i.e. the ability to smile 12 times a day - will that be an index to measure GNH in a country?
