Most web boards in Thailand insist on having "identification" information as a part of their registration process.

They make a disclaimer that they would only store and use members' information 'in (private) confidence'.

They make no guarantee to 'protect' members' information, nor do they accept any liability from misuse of information.

It is once again up to 'us' to protect ourselves!

We have to think like crooks to keep ourselves 'good'. ;-)
