Most Thai students are conditioned to produce success -- even the success is from memory or from 'illegal means'.

Some Western students have been adapting to 'real world' conditions early -- some have to work and study part-time.

Our teachers have 'no time' to go through 'diversity of knowledge presentation' -- thus 'multiple choice exams'.

And as a result, graduates are trained to memorise -- not to think 'differently'.

Innovation comes from 'strong needs' to solve problems with little resources (time, money, energy, tools, etc.). When a solution is needed badly. Innovative thinking emerges.

Sadly, in our society, 'cheating, corruption, frauds and the like' (that our politicians and businessmen are quick to come up) are acceptable innovation.
