[ My apologies for 'poor' English in the post above. Please, reread here: ]

It is about 'education' but not 'learning'. We are learning to predict --by reasoning on 'known facts' from databases, and not from actual history or 'practical experiences'. Why? Because it is easy 'to think' -- but it is hard 'to do'.

We are ill-prepared for (natural and political) disasters, perhaps, because we rely on (imported) easy sciences and easy technologies. We have not 'played' and developed (our) sciences and technologies (for our use). We would be 'not fit' physically and we would be 'not ready' intellectually -- if we continue our 'easy education' (in sciences ...).

...เราจะแยก "ความสะดวก" ออกจาก "ความสบาย" ได้ไหม

และความสบายที่สบายจริงๆ กับสบายชั่วคราว ออกจากกัน...

My point is 'teachers' should 'aim' for their students to be 'fit to do' and 'fit to learn'.

As all parents should -- look after their children's body and brain.

The ball is in your court! ;-) would you play?
