We (and the rest of the world) have been 'blinded' by 'sciences' and the power of 'the brain'.
The sciences have been a 'winning religion'.
The 'sports' have been spectacular for TV and computer audience -- virtual entertainment.
We preach 'field work is for unskilled labours', desk work is for masters'.
And we pay more for 'foreseers'.
We treat 'workers' as machines -- in service of 'masters'.
Our children are taught to 'think' but not encouraged to 'do' much.
They are trained to sit and to copy 'knowledge'.
That's how children 'learn'. That's what children learn.
And we wonder -- why schools are places 'NOT FOR KIDS'.
(We use and call 'Skinner Box' a 'scientific education tool'. We have been training animals with 'Skinner Box'!)
So, we don't have strong and fit 'body' -- muscles and nerves and senses -- to deal with 'physical reality'.
We dream more and use machines more...
Should we not show our children that 'physical work', sweats and aching pains help us to be strong, to think and to do things faster? Should we not show our children the (health) benefits of having good bodies?
Would it be better to have 'body and brain'?
Let's get out and 'play balls' -- clean around the house, around the neighbourhood, ... ;-)
