The fourth line of the poem explains the abuse of liquor.

Every food and drink is danger if you consume too much.  Try to drink ten cans of Coke you will figure out what will happen to your stomach?  Man should understand the average of everything: eating, drinking, sleeping, studying, speaking or even amusing the festivals.  Buddha taught us to follow the medium path: not too much and not too less.  The statistic of death in the USA, alcohol is not the top one.  

If you cannot accept alcohol, you could not live in South East Asia. The Birthday, Wedding, Celebration, Reception, Graduation parties all use different kinds of liquor. The meeting between two governments also uses liquor. Come on don’t betray your eyes.  In our life, we need to understand and accept the reality of the community.
