..ระบบพัฒนาบุคลากรสมัยนี้ เร่งเร้าด้วย disruption และ digital transformation   ที่จะต้องมีวิธีดำเนินการในแบบที่ผมไม่คุ้นเคยโดยสิ้นเชิง    ต้องการผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านนี้มาให้คำแนะนำ  โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการจัดวางระบบ    ให้ระบบพัฒนาคนบูรณาการอยู่ในการทำงาน    ให้ experiential reflective learning เป็นร้อยละ ๘๐ ของระบบพัฒนาบุคลากร    การฝึกอบรมเป็นเพียงร้อยละ ๒๐ -- https://www.gotoknow.org/posts/705392 

Prof. Vicharn stresses the importance of real life experience over theoretical and simulated or directed learning in development of human resource. The old proverb "สิบปากว่า ไม่เท่ามือทำ" or in a more modern quote "you have graduated in learning the models, now go and practice in the real world" tells the similar truth.

There is however a concern that one may develop expertise and become an expert but unable to pass on the acquired know-how. And so the knowledge is locked and lost with the person. Humanity has to restart from ground zero again. Science has made very good progress because practitioners of science try to be open and accountable, experts in science try to unfold complex and connect diverse events into understandable stories. We would hope that those who have acquired real life expertise try to pass on their best practices like Prof. Vicharn is doing. I salute Prof. Vicharn.

 

Remarks:

The Pareto principle (also known as "the 80/20 rule") is a phenomenon that states that roughly 80% of outcomes come from 20% of causes. Perhaps, its corollary: the other 20% --to make up 100% of outcomes need 80% of effective causes --real hard effort.This is quite similar to "the rule of diminishing return" where more and more effort/input is required to squeeze out the little remaining output.
