to be in a bad mood

วันนี้เพื่อนเดินเข้าห้องแลบมาทำหน้าเมื่อย ก่อนจะรายงานว่า " I'm cranky" ก่อนจะบ่นว่าสารพัดเกี่ยวกับอากาศที่เอาแนนอนไม่ได้ หิวก็หิว เมื่อยเหนื่อยเพลีย ทั้งหมดนี้สรุปได้กับคำว่า cranky อีกคำที่นึกออกคือ grumpy ลองเอาไปใช้ดูนะ เพิ่มไว้ในขุมทรัพย์ศัพท์ของตัวเองในหมวด "to be in a bad mood" คำอื่น ๆ ในหมวดนี้ที่คุ้นเคยกันอยู่แล้วก็พวกง่าย ๆ อย่าง sad, upset, tied, angry พอเบื่อก็เปลี่ยนไปใช้ frustrated, irritated, annoyed เช่น ถ้าเพื่อนบ่นมาก ๆ เราก็อาจเออออว่า Some people are just irritating. ก่อนจะชวนกันไปหาข้าวหม่ำกันต่อไป

Sorry I can't type in Thai..well..you know that as you were my honourable translator just minutes ago for Tan Poo Tao Natachoie :) Thanks! I learned those words from my undergrad friends here. Hanging out with undergrad is a good way to learn new words...the way people talk in real life :) Anyway, I'm not sure if they're universal but they are pretty common here. Try them with your Farang friends and let me know :))
