Doomsday in 2030 CE -- 7 years away

This year, the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists moves the hands of the Doomsday Clock forward, largely (though not exclusively) because of the mounting dangers of the war in Ukraine. The Clock now stands at 90 seconds to midnightthe closest to global catastrophe it has ever been. [ see https://thebulletin.org/doomsday-clock/ ] (2021, 2022 – 100 seconds to midnight.)

But the seconds on this clock can be shorter or longer depending on the [geo]political climate. There is however a number of physical events related to human activities but not controlled by human power.

What about Climate Change?

https://scitechdaily.com/arctics-melting-glaciers-reveal-hidden-methane-time-bomb/  Shrinking Arctic glaciers are uncovering bubbling groundwater springs that release large amounts of methane, a potent greenhouse gas, according to a study in Nature Geoscience. As glaciers retreat further due to global warming, these emissions are expected to increase, potentially exacerbating climate change. This new and growing methane source was previously unrecognized in methane budget estimations.

When would the Arctic Ice melt completely?

Plans and commitments of governments around the world to reduce greenhouse gases emission by 2050 are now grossly inadequate. All around the world records of hottest day, week, month, year are being broken. Last report: The average global temperature was 17.18 Celsius (62.9 degrees Fahrenheit)[1901–2000 average of 13.1°C (55.5°F)], according to the University of Maine's Climate Reanalyzer, a tool that uses satellite data and computer simulations to measure the world's condition.

What would happen then?
https://www.amnh.org/explore/ology/earth/ask-a-scientist-about-our-environment/will-the-world-ever-be-all-under-water  ..sea level would rise about 70 meters the ocean would cover all coastal cities.

How much of Thailand is affected?

This is a call to all Thailand's Scientists and politicians to probe for details and measures to reduce the severity of impacts. We don't have a lot of time to waste.

"The cycles are 36 million years long because of regular patterns in how tectonic plates are recycled into the convecting mantle, the mobile part of the deep Earth, similar to hot, thick soup in a pot, that moves slowly." --This may related to the increasing number of earth quakes and volcanic activities.]

What is happening at the South Pole?

GENEVA, July 10 (Reuters) - Antarctic sea ice levels reached record lows last month, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) said on Monday, a development climate change experts described as worrisome.

WMO said that Antarctic sea ice levels last month - the hottest June ever recorded -- were at their lowest since satellite observations began, at 17% below average.  – https://www.reuters.com/world/antarctic-ice-levels-undergo-massive-decrease-data-shows-2023-07-10/

Window to avoid 1.5°C of warming will close before 2030 if emissions are not reduced, study shows .. if carbon dioxide emissions remain at 2022 levels of about 40 metric gigatons per year, the carbon budget will be exhausted by around 2029, committing the world to warming of 1.5°C above preindustrial levels. if carbon dioxide emissions remain at 2022 levels of about 40 metric gigatons per year, the carbon budget will be exhausted by around 2029, committing the world to warming of 1.5°C above preindustrial levels…
