Each of these terms may be used to refer to a chorus
(a choir, or group of singers),
but chorale more specifically applies to
(1) a choral composition,
(2) a sacred tune, or
(3) a group of singersspecializing in singing hymns.
That is, any band of singers may be referred to as a choral group,
but only a group specializing
in some particular form of music is a chorale.
Also, choral is nearly always used as an adjective,
chorale as a noun:
“Judy is a member of a choral group.”
“Jessie belongs to a chorale that sings under the directionof a former concert artist.”

Not to be confused with:
Chorale = harmonized hymn; a chorus or choir
Coral = hard, rocklike structures formed by marine coelenterates;
yellowish red
