I think we may translate 'analyze' as วิเคราะห์ [ก. ใคร่ครวญ เช่น วิเคราะห์เหตุการณ์; แยกออกเป็นส่วน ๆ เพื่อศึกษาให้ถ่องแท้ เช่น วิเคราะห์ปัญหาต่าง ๆ วิเคราะห์ข่าว.], and 'synthesize' as สังเคราะห์ or forming (putting together) something (eg. a theeory, a new material,...) from other (existing/known/available) things.
