พระพุทธเจ้าแบ่งชั้นวรรณะ
เรามักเชื่อกันว่าพพจ.ทรงทำลายชั้นวรรณะ แต่พระองค์กลับสี่มาตรฐาน โดยการแบ่งคนออกเป็นบัว ๔ เหล่า จึงไม่แปลกเลยว่าทำไมตรัสรู้แล้ว ไม่สอนนางสุชาดาผู้หงต้มนมมธุปายาสถวายเป็นคนแรก แต่กลับเดินทางไกลไปง้อสอนให้ปัญจฯทั้ง ๕ ที่ป่าทุ่งสวนกวาง

People are people! We all have our reasons for 'prioritizing things to do'.
And people are different, each and every one is different from another. One size does not fit all. We know the issue. In a class of students, some get the message in 5 minutes and become distraction for slower ones. Some after 40 minutes of explaining and giving examples in umpteen ways still don't get it.
I think the Buddha didn't attribute his enlightment to a meal but to reflection on the teaching of his former teachers and/or mentors.
Incidentally on his way to sse his former teachers, the Buddha met a young brahmin who commented that the Buddha look radient and knowledgeable. The Buddha said somewhat boasting that He had realized 'the Truth' by Himself. The brahmin shook his head and went away. The Buddha never again said anything in that boastful way!
We can learn more from the Buddha and by learning each little bit we rise above the water like waterlilies emerge to receive the (Sun)light. Then we know what happens afterward. The full blooms get pollinated and wither and fall away. Such is the whole story of waterlilies.
