Mope about/around (somewhere) = p.v. (ไม่เห็นด้วย)

หมายถึง - เดินวนเวียนโดยไม่มีจุดหมาย หรือชีวิตชีวา เพราะความไม่สบายใจ หรือว่าผิดหวัง

-He was driving me mad, moping about the house all day.

Muck sb/sth about/around = p.v. ส่วนใหญ่ใช้ใน UK ไม่เป็นทางการ

หมายถึง - ประพฤติตนเหลวไหล หรือกระทำต่อคนอื่น หรือบางสิ่งโดยไม่ใส่ใจ

-The old lady is usually mucking about in her little house.

-Stop mucking about with those ornaments, you’ll break something.

-I’m fed up with them mucking me about and cancelling our arrangements.

Order sb about/around = p.v. (ไม่เห็นด้วย)

หมายถึง - บอกบางคนให้ทำอะไร โดยวิธีหยาบคาย หรือข่มขู่ (ดู shove sb about/around)

Put sth about/around = p.v. ไม่เป็นทางการ

หมายถึง - บอกบางสิ่งที่ไม่เป็นความจริง แก่คนจำนวนมาก

Root about/around (somewhere) = p.v. ไม่เป็นทางการ

หมายถึง - เริ่มต้นทำ หรือจัดการ – กับบางสิ่ง

หมายถึง – เข้าทำร้ายบางคน

หมายถึง - ผลักดันบางคนด้วยกำลัง ในลักษณะที่เกเรและข่มขู่

หมายถึง - จำได้ หรือจินตนาการ - ถึงบางคนหรือบางสิ่ง
