ข้อคิดจากผึ้งงาน
เมื่อตอนเย็นเดินเข้าไปซื้อกับข้าวในตลาด เห็นร้านขายน้ำหวาน มีผึ้งตอมอยู่ตามโถ บางตัวตายลอยในน้ำหวานนั้น ให้ได้คิด ถึงข้อคิดจากผึ้งงานนี้ทีเดียว
ผึ้งงานจะทำงานตลอดช่วงชีวิตของมัน ทั้งคอยทำความสะอาดรัง สร้าง/ซ่อมแซมรัง คอยเฝ้าระวังอันตราย หาอาหาร(น้ำหวาน,เกสร) คอยป้อนอาหารตัวอ่อนและผึ้งนางพญา โดยที่ทุกอย่างที่ทำไปผึ้งงานไม่ได้หวังอะไรตอบแทนเลย ช่างขยันนี่กระไร น่าชื่นชม โดยธรรมชาติเจ้าผึ้งงานต้องบินออกไปหาน้ำหวานจากเกสรดอกไม้ นำกลับมาที่รัง แต่ก็มีผึ้งงานบางส่วนใช้ชีวิตผิดธรรมชาติ แทนที่จะหาน้ำหวานจากเกสรดอกไม้ กลับมาหาน้ำหวานในโหลน้ำหวานซะนี่ แล้วก็พลันตื่นตาตื่นใจกับน้ำหวานที่มากมาย เป็นโหล ๆ ขี้เกียจบินหาน้ำหวาน เหมือนอย่างที่ธรรมชาติให้เป็นซะงั้น เผลอทั้งตัวเผลอทั้งใจ หลงใหล จนไม่ทันระวังภัย ปล่อยให้น้ำหวานเกาะ เต็มตัวเต็มขา ปีกเปียกปอน บินไม่ได้ และจมลงตายในโถน้ำหวานในที่สุด
เหมือนกับคนเรา หากแต่มัวหลงระเลิงอยู่กับกิเลส ปล่อยให้เกาะกินใจ และสุดท้าย ก็ไม่สามารถ ล้างกิเลสจากตัวได้ คงจมทุกข์อยู่กับกองกิเลส
พึงใช้ชีวิต ไปตามธรรม ที่เป็นธรรมชาติ เหมือนผึ้งที่บินหาน้ำหวานตามดอกไม้ ถึงจะมีเกสรน้ำหวานติดตามร่างกายบ้าง แต่เมื่อรู้ ก็สลัดเบาๆ เกสรดอกไม้ก็หลุดออกแล้ว

I am on the bees' side. The truth is Nature is not what it used to be. Because there are now less sources of natural nectar -- people cut down forest trees, spray weeds, spray their crops -- natural nectar is now very much toxic --; man-made syrups by comparison are somewhat safer though not as good.
If we are bees facing with this problem to do our job --the best we can--, should we poison our sister bees with toxic nectar or provide them with lower quality food?
Those bees are -not lazy- nor stupid but driven into this predicament by stupid and lazy people!
Stupid people also increase the distance between home and 'good food'. So, many mothers (birds, bees,... even people) have to travel more, use more energy and time to find and bring food back to feed their babies. This weakens the mothers and the babies and eventually the whole population -- the species is forced into extinction.
If you care for bees and mothers, give them some 'good clean food', stop killing weeds (to you weeds are eye-sores, useless plants, to bees and other lives, weeds are food through the year), grow more plants that bees and birds and other animals can use --not human-edible or human-usable plants. The world should belong to life --all life not just human.
I definitely over-commented here. But I am on the bees' side!

ขอบคุณท่าน SR ที่มาแสดงความคิดเห็นในด้านของผึ้ง ที่ถูกชลัญพาดพิง จริงๆไม่ผิดที่ผึ้งจะพยายามหาอาหารที่คิดว่าดีปลอดภัยมากที่สุด เพื่อกลับไปเลี้ยงตัวอ่อน แต่หากผึ้งจะเพียงบินมาตอมน้ำหวานเก็บไปเพียงเล็กน้อย เพื่อเลี้ยงชีพก็คงไม่มีอันตราย แต่หากมัวเพลินกับน้ำหวานจำนวนมากที่ตนคิดว่าปลอดภัย จนไม่นึกถึงว่า อาหารที่ปลอดภัยนั้นอ่จทีโทษได้หากเรา อยากได้แบบไม่ระวังตัว แทนที่จะได้กลับไปเลี้ยงตัวอ่อน แต่ตัวเองต้องกลับมาตายในบ่อน้ำหวานนั้น ปล่อยให้ตัวอ่อนหิวโหย ซะงั้น

คนมีปัญญา เห็นอะไร ก็นำมาขบคิดจนเห็นธรรมได้เสมอ
Again I am on the bees' side. And I say let us become forensic detectives. We may have this theory: The bees had traveled a long from their hive, they found the syrup, they landed to investigated, the bees were tired and not able to free themselves from the sticky syrup. They were dead tired. Or we may have this reasoning: the bees found a lot of syrup, because of the long distance the bees didn't have enough time for extra trips, so they had to try to carry as much syrup as they could back to the hive.
If we say: 'because the bees are lazy, greedy, and illogical, they get to their dead end' then we turn away. We will lose our true friends who pollinate flowers and and actually make fruits for us. It is not enough that we rob their home (or hive), steal their food (honey), kill them, their queen and their young. destroy their hunting fields, destroy their food sources, ... The we blame them for their plight and label them with bad human qualities.
We really ought to look at ourselves and our values and justify what we have done to bees and everything else on this planet. Many bees pay for our mistakes with their lives. What do we pay though we are responsible? We can't even pay tributes or say nice things about bees!
ขอบคุณท่าน SR ที่มาแสดงความคิดเห็นอีกครั้ง ดูเหมือนมุมมองเรื่องผึ้งนี่จะทำให่ท่าน SR ไม่สบายใจไม่น้อย ชลัญ ไม่ได้มองแย่ขนาด คนที่มีกิเลส แล้วจะต้องเป็นคนไม่ดี หรอกค่ะ มองเพียงว่าตราบใดที่เป็นมนุษย์ปุถุชนธรรมดา ก็ยังมีกิเลสค่ะ เพียงอยากเตือนตัวเองว่า อย่ามีมาก จน ทำให้มันกลับมาทำร้ายความรู้สึกของเราก็เท่านั้น ค่ะ อาจยกตัวอย่าง ไม่เข้าท่า เพราะเป็นมุมมองที่ปื๊งแว๊บ ขึ้นมาเท่านั้น จึงบันทึกความรู้สึกนี้ ไว้เตือนใจตนค่ะ ไม่ได้มองว่าผึ้งไม่ดี แต่อย่างใด นะค่ะ ท่านตัวแทนแห่งผึ้ง

กลับมาปรับปรุงตัวได้ อาจแก้ตัวไม่ได้ แต่ต่อไปอาจไม่แย่กว่าเดิมค่ะ
Yes. I have concerns about bees and many other things like 'weeds', 'human' and 'fish'.
From (I refer quietly to Aesop's fable 'a drop of spilled honey') your dead bees in syrups on sale. I will comment as a human (labelled "sr") :
1) Sugar (syrup) in excess is bad for everyone. Yet people sale bad things (alcohol, cigarettes, lotteries, guns, poisons, 'drugs', ...), even governments sell and promote corruption.
2) in your dead bees in syrup case, inadequate hygiene measure had been applied by the seller - if bees can get in, flies and other disease vectors can too.
3) From a 'work place safety' and 'public safety' points of view, the unprotected syrups are sources of hazards that can cause serious health and safety incidents.
4) Bees are friends, benefactors and essential in food chains. Dead bees should cause concerns and appropriate preventions. Human food supply may be at stake.
5) Human morality maybe measured by how we perform custodianship of this planet. This requires mentality of higher orders. If we do not strive to learn and reach a higher level but keep playing the self-interest and blame games, we will see our own destruction sooner.
Am I different than the rest of us. Yes, in one tiny little way. I like to speak for bees because bees cannot speak to defend themselves. I will do it again. Time will tell if I do bees justice.
