Advances in society often come from innovations and inventions -- new ideas to do things better.

Economy of developed countries is substantially based on "innovations". Governments of developed countries provide substantial continuing supports to Research and Development (R&D). Thailand has realized the importance of R&D for a long time, but has not made significant use of innovative resources in advancing economy and society. This must change.

In this blog, we will learn and develop solutions for use in going "from idea to product", together. We will look for innovative ideas, tools and other resources and learn how to use them. We will aim to provide services to help in getting "from idea to product", and on the way "from dream Thailand to  proud Thailand".

We all have ideas at one time or another that we are sure would make the world a better place or at least make life easier for some people. Let's share our ideas, our visions, our missions and our resources to get "from idea to product" for ourselves, our children and our country.

Why do we need to do this?

Yes. We do have a number of organizations to promote and assist in research and development of innovations. We do have public associations like ชมรมนักประดิษฐ and so on. What we don't have is significant social and economic benefits from work of these organizations. This is another helping hand. Our country needs 'all hands on deck' to meet waves of challenge coming on to our shores from the world economic situations, the adoption of ASEAN collaboration and the world crises on climate change, peak resources, evolving micro-organisms, persistent environmental contamination, ...

Yes. We have urgent need to solve many problems. We cannot wait for the West to develop technologies for us. We must try our best to solve these problems ourselves. We must be or bring about solutions. Furthermore we need to encourage our children to problem solvers and innovators.

How do we get 'from idea to product'?

This what we are on about. This is our "vision" and "mission".

This is what we we develop a set of skills, tools and certain best practices to help us get 'from idea to product'.

We will start by forming a group of people who are interested in innovation and wish to help. We will organize and work to provide services to assist innovators to get 'from idea to product'. Examples of our work are 'assess idea for technical feasibility', 'survey market demand', 'help in preparation of legal and financial documents', 'assist in manufacturing', 'collect incidents and improvement reports", ...
