If we construct a sentence, which is better 'we understand it' or 'other people understand it'?

12 - How we do 2 things at once (PSE)

We have looked at how we can use 2 or more 'nouns' words to say more about objects.

Can we use 2 or more 'verbs' words to say more about what we do?
Yes. We can. For examples:

   We want to play games.
We like to play and learn.
They expect to finish homework soon.
   You seem to lose interests.

I love to go and see that concert.
We would love to meet the King.
   She likes to go shopping.
   He likes reading.
She goes to dance at the fair.
She loves going to dance at the fair.

We sing and dance to get donation for the hospital.
They always argue but kiss and make up in the end.
We must stand and fight or lose our face.
I only want to clean, cut then mix fresh fruits.

Can we find any patterns in arranging words from 'verbs' box?
How would we use more 'verbs' words to say more about what we do?
Can we check if we use the words in correct order?
How would we check if we speak good English?
How do we check if people understand what we say?
Does your learning buddy understand what you say?

[Dear Teachers,

We may play a game by drawing 2 or 3 words from the 'verbs' box and let students 'construct' and speak simple sentences using those words.

Discuss the meaning of the sentences with more than 2 'verbs' words.
Do we understand the sentences?
If we swap words, does this make different meanings?
How do we make the sentences better?

We should check the results of what we do to make sure that we do good. If we don't get the results we want, we waste time and resources.
Would we get better results if we do something else?
How do we check if we construct good English sentences?
Do we understand the sentences?
How many other people understand the sentences the same way we understand them?

If we construct a sentence, which is better 'we understand it' or 'other people understand it'?

(We may have heard an official welcome speech for foreign guests recently. Do you think the guests understand the speech or feel welcome?) ]
