That may so.

But for me and 5 billions other people, we would be glad just to have mobile phone and Internet connections -- when we need and where we can afford. Where I live, decent Internet connection if possible would be some 4-5 years away. The last I have heard about Thailand is the fight to control telecommunication infrastructures. Wireless broadband is good for cities but degraded quickly when traffic is heavy. In time of need such as floods -- we pray that we can still use the Internet and mobile phones (no electricity, no batteries; mobile towers and relay stations not working) ;-)

I envy you and another billion people in the super-broadband areas. ;-).
