Background
Young people are the most concerned about the way the world's environment is being destroyed. Through seminars and work projects, the organizations raise the awareness of young people of the threats posed to the environment.
At the same time, they propose concrete alternatives for activities and pedagogical tools to disseminate the information. Each year, many of the environmental groups are involved in working to protect the environment and to promote education and environmental matters.
Khlongla sub district is the water conservation area of Songkhla province. It's the beginning of water for a million of people.
Aims
1. Environmental Conservation.
2. Promoting environmental protection to the people.
3. Intercultural, international communication as well as between different generation.
4. Exchanging, understanding by living and working together.
Qualification
1. Age over 18 years old
2. Open up, flexible, adaptable and creative
Working
The volunteer will work with local youth environmental club. In the living place, there are various works of volunteer which you can work and learning together such as:
- Cleaning rivers
- Planting trees
- Protecting animals
- Creating eco-villages
Sawasdee Organization are translating for organization (English is important), website, video presentation, repairing living area as assistant to set up eco-tourism trip.
Working time&Place
- Monday - Friday 9.00 - 15.00 (Depend on each work)
- Saturday - Sunday are free time
Place
Khlongla sub district, Songkhla . It's about half an hour away from HatYai, the biggest city of southern Thailand.
Free time activities
In some workcamps, the hosts or we volunteers organize discussions, excursions, cultural exchange parties with local people, school visit, sports programs, etc.
Accommodation
1. Dormitory is provident, separate male and female.
2. Shower room and Toilet in Thai Style, kitchen.
3. Volunteers often cook by turns and enjoy global tastes.
4. Home stay, some time volunteers have to stay in the village with the villager or a house of youth club member.
5. The common language is English in most of workcamps though you had better to try local languages.
It is very important to note that voluntary should be made by all volunteers with local people. Volunteers are not guests!
Fee & Contact
Parts of fee are using for food Monday-Friday, accommodation and organization management.

วันศุกร์ที่ 13 ส.ค. 53 ซัด em ลงในแหล่งน้ำลำคลองเพื่อปรับสภาพแวดล้อมของน้ำให้ดีขึ้น
วันเสาร์ที่ 14 ส.ค. 53 สำรวจป่าต้นน้ำคลองหลา/งานเลี้ยงส่ง
วันอาทิตย์ที่ 15ส.ค. 53 เดินทางกลับ
