this is my first step into a new world. khun aisune has given me the opportunity to be part of this "program". I am excited, nervous and hope that there are people who get in conntect with me.
that is actually the "Vision". to get into contact. in opposition to be separated, to be alone, to be vulnerable. it is so easy that everybody knows it. how about practising it?
i will tell you some things about me. old 56 years,german, unmarried, profession :hippie,(i think for khon thai to understand hippie, it is the western style of tudong) . first time to Thailand 1980. since 1987 i lived and live mostly in Thailand. 2004 i start to go to Wat Suan Mokh do meditation retreat and live now either there or in Wat Tung Pai.
when i say connecting with other people or the nature, i am well aware of the fact that we all are doing to a certain decree in our daily lifes. but it is not enough. my life was surely exceptional; but now i can say i nearly missed the plot. i feel that if i do not manage to really connect to people and enviorment around me, i somehow failed.

i'am glad to meet you in this blog. you and your subject are very interesting. I think you have many content to share to and otherpeople but how can i do because my English is not enoug. I try to do ok.

to connect to a certain decree? means we areinteracting, talking or do various thing with people.
but to connect in my understanding means to connect on the spiritual level. because that is what really matters. material or mental level seem to be much more important, but they are illusionary. most of us (old) have realized that shoping etc. does not bring us any happiness.not for long anyhow. and the same is true for feeling pleasures aswell.
so why do we seek this pleasures in the first place. to get rid of some strange sensation of not being satisfied, to live with conflicts while we seek harmony, do have some kind of worry that we can not really explain.
i have to say that since i started meditation to control or at least restrict the fruitless wandering of my brain, i feel more contained with my life.
and because i learned to meditate in suan mokh, chai ya, i met many people that share my "understanding" and if things work out(most important time) than connecting takes place and it is clear that to connect first and formost on the spiritual level is very benefical. it is the base to start from any kind of activity that will ultimatly bring relief from suffering.
