Kokho a learning aid in the digital age

Kokho is based on excess (or excess time) of quality Hardware (phones, tablets, computers, smart TVs); software is based on Html, CSS and Javascript on advanced browsers (instead of OS) to reduce demand for specialist developers. This browser dependency puts restrictions speed and complexity of apps but allows Internet communications/meeting where connections are available.

in comparison to OLPC which was based on low cost Hardware and tailored software set (Linux 2.6 OS + Sugar [python 2]) for low spec. level device; The device was crippled from start and useless at end of life. Thailand’s OTPC was similar but on low-cost (low-specs) tablets. This project also failed and the hardware ended useless –non reusable.

Kokho offers another opportunity for teachers to share their teaching activities (lessons and materials).
