The changing Australian society - and its changing tastebuds - are illustrated in 25 years of trolley tracking in the Woolworths' 2013 Trolley Trends report. 61% of sides purchased by shoppers are now pasta, rice or noodles.That compares with potatoes, a favourite back in 1984, but which now make up just 39% of purchases.

….. pesticides don’t harm humans….. I would think they do in the long run. ….. the pesticides kill certain species of gut bacteria, not us.’… . I believe they kill us too , little by little.

Shoppers dump potatoes for rice, noodles ….. I consider this a good news for Thailand. We have high quality rice with reasonable price especially for you 555.

Hi Dr GD: You and I agree that pesticides, insecticides, herbicides,... are genocides. But "many scientists" say, the way we use these chemicals, they are safe. By not arguing against use of toxic chemicals, we tacitly accept the state of affair thus the chemicals are deemed safe. Would anyone care to help with our environment?
