นกยูงรำแพนหาง เกี้ยวตัวเมีย เสียงร้องของนกในแบ็คกราวด์คือเสียงนกยูงร้อง ผมถ่ายมาจาก วัดภูค่าว กาฬสินธุ์ 

จนก่อนหน้านี้ไม่นาน อายุก็ป่านนี้แล้ว ผมยังก็ไม่เคยเห็นนกยูงรำแพนสักที แต่วัดนี้นกยูงแยะจริงๆ และหลายตัว ก็ออกมารำป้อ เต้นระบำ ยั่วนักท่องเที่ยว จนอดถ่ายวีดิโอคลิปเก็บไว้ไม่ได้ คลิปนี้เก็บไว้นานสองเดือนแล้วจนจะลืม ก็เลยเพิ่งเอามาอัพโหลดเพื่อแชร์สักครู่นี้เอง

I used to keep a few peacocks (and pea-hens). The males are quite noisy in the cold months, calling, fighting and panning about. Then they mate and that the end of male story. They fly off to sleep in trees leaving peahens to lay and hatch under bushes on the ground. Most hens get killed and eggs taken by foxes, dogs and goannas around this hatching time.

So much for beutiful male birds, so much selfishness (in human terms)!
