ต้นไม้ป่าต้องใส่ปุ๋ยหรือไม่
ที่ผมปฏิบัติก็คือ ไม่ได้ใส่ปุ๋ยต่าง ๆ ให้กับต้นไม้ป่าเลยครับ
มีญาติของผมท่านหนึ่ง เขาเอาปุ๋ยเคมีใส่ต้นกล้าไม้ป่าตอนปลูก ปรากฎว่า ไม่ทราบผิดสูตรหรือปริมาณกันแน่ แต่ผลปรากฎว่า ต้นกล้าไม้ป่าเหล่านั้นตายครับ
ผมเคยวิตกเหมือนกันครับว่าต้นไม้ป่าจะขาดปุ๋ย เพราะตนเองเรียนจบมาทางเกษตรศาสตร์ แต่ก็เชื่อว่า ต้นไม้ป่าคงจะได้ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ธรรมชาติ จากหญ้าแห้งที่เรามาสุมรอบโคนต้น แล้วย่อยสลายผุพังไปเป็นปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ตามธรรมชาติเองด้วยส่วนหนึ่ง นอกเหนือจากในดินตามธรรมชาตินะครับ
คือจัดสภาพแวดล้อมให้เหมือนป่าธรรมชาตินั่นเองครับ
ที่สวนป่าของผม ต้นไม้ป่าก็อยู่ได้ และเติบโตได้ดีนะครับ ปลูก 1 ปี ต้นสูงเกือบ 2 เมตร ทั้งที่เป็นดินถมนาด้วยนะครับ
ใจถึงหน่อยนะครับ ไม่ต้องกลัวต้นไม้ป่าขาดปุ๋ยแล้วตายนะครับ ที่จริงแล้ว ป่าเขารอด และอายุยืนยาวกว่าเราเสียอีกครับ.. อิ อิ

I read this “จัดสภาพแวดล้อมให้เหมือนป่าธรรมชาติ” and somehow felt very uneasy. 1) ไม้ป่า (wild plants) are not ไม้ในป่า (plants in the wild) 2) ป่า (forests, the wild) are not just where trees grow, there are a lot more in natural forests: microbes, fungi, wildlife, … Forests are not closed systems and there are a lots of activities we (human) do not observe or know about. For example (in my place in the bush in Australia – where I have lived for 20+ years) we have a lot of lizards, frogs, birds feeding on insects and fruits, insects and fungi feeding on plants, bacteria, fungi, worms (nematodes and earth worms), and larvae feeding plants, … All ‘pee and poo’ to feed plants. Migratory birds (black ducks, wood duck, whistling ducks, herons, egrets, (native) parrots, swallows, … all bring minerals, bacteria, even viruses from elsewhere to feed/kill plants. Visiting dingoes, foxes, wild dogs, kangaroos, wallabies, bandicoots, bats, snakes, pythons, … come to prey and ‘pee and poo’.
It is simple to see that ‘a forest’ or an ‘environment’ needs these actors, activities and ‘be left alone’ to perform these activities.
==Leaving a forest alone is a good starting point.== Leaving wild trees in a home backyard (a restricted system) is not the same thing.
