คำสอนสมเด็จพระสังฆราชที่ 25

ไม่ควรมองออกไปแต่ภายนอก แต่ ควรมองเข้ามาดูภายในด้วย คือภายในครอบครัว เพราะเด็กต้องจำเจอยู่ในครอบครัว จึงเสวนากับบุคคลและสิ่งแวดล้อมในครอบครัวเป็นส่วนมาก ถ้ามีพี่เลี้ยงก็ควรเลือกพี่เลี้ยงที่ดี โดยเฉพาะพวกผู้ใหญ่ของเด็ก เช่น บิดามารดาต้องประพฤติตนให้เป็นตัวอย่างที่ดีของเด็ก เด็กย่อมเฝ้าผูกปัญหาสงสัยและคิดแก้ปัญหาในบุคคลและสิ่งรอบๆ ตัวอยู่เสมอ และคอยลอกเลียนดำเนินตามสิ่งที่ตนได้เห็นและผู้ใหญ่นั่นเองเป็นตัวอย่าง เมื่อประสงค์จะให้เด็กดีจึงจำต้องทำตนเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีของเด็กด้วย
