Development of the Electronic Book to Promote English Reading Comprehension for Mattayomsuksa 1 Students

The objective of this research were 1)to develop of the Electronic Book to promote English reading comprehension for Mattayomsuksa 1students in order to achieve efficiency according to set criterion of 80/802) to compare the students' learning achievement before and after learning with of the Electronic Book.The sample group was Mattayomsuksa 1 students who studied from Wathurae school in semester 1, academic 2014, which were taken by using the stratified random sampling.The instruments included: 1) the Electronic Book to promote English reading comprehension for Mattayomsuksa 1 students 2) parallel pre and post achievement test 3) an assessment from determine the quility of the Electronic Book.

The findings of the research are summarized as the following :

1. The efficiency of develop of the Electronic Book to promote English reading comprehension for Mattayomsuksa 1students was83.24 / 81.16
2. A comparison of students' academic achievement reveals that after learning with the Electronic Book to promote English reading comprehension for Mattayomsuksa 1, the students showed a higher level of achievement than before at the .01 significant level
