Conceptual Framework
Conceptual framework otherwise known as theoretical framework is like a travel map to a researcher in conducting a study. It details and gives a complete overview of how the research will take place, the steps involve, the findings and conclusions and proposed recommendation. Additionally, it shows correlation of variables and connects to all aspects of inquiry (problem, purpose, literature review, methodology and analysis) involve in the study. Having a conceptual framework will make the life of a researcher easy as he has a clear picture of the entire study. A framework can help the researcher decide and explain the route he has to take. With a conceptual framework, researcher can explain why he should try a certain direction, which is necessary in attaining the desired objectives.
Conceptual framework is different from methodological framework as the latter details the different steps involve in undertaking the study. Normally, this can be seen from chapter 3 (methodology) of the research paper. This will make easier undertaking the study.
