การใช้ much และ many

Much   ใช้ขยายคำนามที่นับไม่ได้ นิยมใช้ในประโยคปฏิเสธ ประโยคคำถามและหลังคำ  How, too, so, as เช่น

      How much tea have you?

      He has not much sugar.

      He drinks so much beer that he gets fatter.   

Many ใช้ขยายคำนามที่นับได้ พหูพจน์ นิยมใช้ในประโยชน์ปฏิเสธ และประโยคคำถามและหลังคำ how, too, so,as เช่น

      How many pencils have you?

      He has not many books.

      I have as many pencils as you.

      He drank too many glasses of wine. 

 

การใช้ much, many  ในประโยคบอกเล่า

1. ใช้กับคำว่า  how เช่น

    I know how much money he has.

    I know how many book he has. 

2. ใช้กับคำว่า so เช่น

    She has so much money that she is not happy.

    I have so many friends that I can't remember all their names.

3. ใช้กับคำว่า very เช่น

    In the last examination, very many students failed.

     Very much rice was spoiled by a new kind of insect.

4. ใช้กับคำว่า too เช่น

    She ate too many apples.

    I have too much work to finish in time.

5. ใช้นำหน้าประโยคบอกเล่า เช่น
     Many people go to the beach every summer.

     Much of what you say is not true.

ทราบวิธีใช้แล้วนะครับ ไปฝึกใช้ให้คล่องและให้ถูกต้องด้วยนะครับ ฝึกให้ชินปาก  วันนี้ยังจำไม่ได้ไม่เป็นไร ฝึกบ่อยๆ เดี่ยวก็ชินและจะติดปากเราไปเองครับ หรือหากมันจำยุ่งยาก ก็จำเฉพาะกฏทีเคยเจอบ่อยๆ ก็พอ
