Do you know Walter Bruening who was the world’s oldest man, has died in the US state of Montana at the age of 114? (Bangkok post, Saturday,April 16,2011)Something that he used to tell the Great Falls Tribune newspaper in 2009 , helped him lead to long life including;
1) Eating only two meals a day for the past 35 years
2) Teaching himself that all things in moderation
Um, For moderation, I recall Dalai Lama , sharing his ideas with audiences around the world on the topic “a simple path and an open heart” and the Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh- a Vietnamese Buddhist monk who offers deep insights about diversity of the human race. If you are interested in a deeply inspirational and practical means,you might read these books ;1) Writing about world, by Susan McLeod,University of California,Santa Barbara,2005, 2) Together we are one, by Thich Nhat Hanh,DMG Books,2010. These concepts may help you lead to long life.
